Biography
It was during the COVID-19 pandemic that I started my initial journey with tapping. I’m a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and I worked through the pandemic. When the pandemic first started there was a lot of uncertainty about the virus and fear around treating patients with the virus and potentially contaminating your family. As the rest of the world was on lockdown, I was still working, as was my husband who is a Firefighter. Schools were closed and my kids were home for online learning. There were so many changes to the normal routine of life! Needless to say, the pandemic was stressful.
During this time, I saw a promotion for The Tapping Solution application. I used the application and I started to tap on different subject areas related to stress. I found this helpful as an emotional release for all the stress I was experiencing and holding within my body.
Then in the beginning of 2020, I suffered a back injury that prevented me from working for a few months. I then remembered The Tapping Solution application and the fact that there was a topic for tapping on back pain. I began tapping and by the end of the session I was in less pain and was able to relax. This experience made me a believer in the effectiveness of tapping! The amazing part is that it’s easy to do and it’s simply done by tapping on acupoints while repeating a phrase. This power to shift the emotions tied to one’s pain can be accessible at any moment.
I enjoyed the benefits I received from tapping and it instilled in me a desire to help others utilize EFT in their healing journey. This led me to pursue certification as a trained practitioner. I completed my certification in May 2023, through EFT universe. I look forward to being able to use this new certification to help people in a new way. Since I became a nurse, my passion has always been helping people. This passion will continue with my work as a Clinical EFT certified practitioner.
